Even if she never has time, painting is her passion, I know it. She lets me enter in the laundry, her creative space, the laboratory where she creates new things. She knows I like to see her happy. In the dream she touches her cheek with the bristle brush, then opening a tube of colored paint and draws across the canvas a broad, slow brush stroke in vibrant red. ‘‘... Thanks Michele ...’’ she whispers. She smiles at me, showing me the space outside. From this spark, from this passion is born FUORISERIE. FUORISERIE is to get out of the laboratories, out of the market, and go to the edge. At the center everyone thinks in the same way. That’s why they ended up there. The edge is unstable and very risky. Perfect to free oneself from conventions and formulas and to create new ideas. FUORISERIE is simple creativity, which embraces emotion, like a canvas to be painted with bright colors; it is a gallery for art, a meeting place for those who know they have talent and want to express it and make it known to the world; Fuoriserie promotes and supports free creative expression, a seed of differentiation in surroundings that leads to homologation. FUORISERIE is an alternative to standard business. It is accessibility: it works to reduce barriers of access to creative and cultural products, both for those who create them and those who use them. It is pop; it does not work for social and cultural elites, but to create new transversal opportunities for aggregation. FUORISERIE is the frontier: it operates in the world, preferably in edge areas, where ‘‘new phenomena’’ emerge; it lives in reality, but it is not afraid to encroach on utopia. Fuoriserie is organized curiosity: it recognizes the desire for knowledge as one of the main motives for expression and works to bring this aspiration from the individual to the collective dimension. FUORISERIE is molding, manipulating, it is lightness: the superfluous is heavy and cumbersome, what is really important goes through the walls. FUORISERIE speaks the language of the listener: it uses codes, languages and different materials according to the relationship with the speaker, the surroundings and the program; if necessary, it uses more languages, more channels, more materials. FUORISERIE will inhabit the interstices, recovering the cultural, economic and social spaces, often neglected by the large fashion, media and culture producers. It means: the more you write down your dreams, the more you work on them, the greater are the chances of them coming true. A sort of preventive dream. I write the dream that I will dream. I write the dream that will happen. I conceive it. I produce it. It happens. You see things and ask: "Why?". But I dream of things that never existed and I say: "Why not?".
